About Your Instructor
Daniel Bashta is a contemporary Christian singer/songwriter. He was raised in New Orleans, surrounded by the sounds of music in the street and in his home, where his mother sang her own songs while she played the piano. Daniel was interested in music from a young age, and this interest blossomed into a desire to drop out of college and pursue music full-time. His parents supported his choice, and it paid off. Daniel’s song “God’s Not Dead” was picked up by a band called Newsboys and went platinum, selling more than 1 million copies. He continues to write and record songs in addition to doing missionary work.
