About Your Instructor
Originally from Bristol, Connecticut, Thurston Hargrove relocated to Atlanta to further his career in the music industry. As a songwriter/producer, Hargrove began working with Mike Jackson, the former VP of Creative at Sony Publishing. Through this collaboration, he was introduced to the scene and studios of Atlanta. His passion and energy for songwriting have led to a successful career which includes such credits as “Handle It” by Australian recording artist Jessica Mauboy and “How to Love” by Boston recording artist Tyneisha Keli. Working with the CornaBoyz production team, he co-wrote “She’s Gone” for the Island Def Jam group Brutha.
